Adapter for mounting on bolts of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) for the use of adapters or reference marks with M8 external thread.

Product characteristics

• For mounting on fixed point bolts / horizontal bolts of ÖBB with 20 mm diameter
• Connection: M8 female thread
• Position reference: The M8 connection is located exactly above the reference point of the horizontal bolt (notch), so that all mounted attachments (prisms, rail spheres) are positioned precisely above the fixed point with known coordinates.
• Height reference: The top edge of the adapter is 20 mm above the coordinate-defined height of the bolt.
• The vertical alignment of the adapter is achieved by means of a circular bubble level; the position of the adapter is fixed using two set screws.
• The circular bubble level can be viewed from above and below, enabling use on both lower and higher fixed points.
