Leica AP20 AutoPole is an advanced smart pole system designed for robotic total stations, introducing automatic pole height measurement, tilt compensation, and target identification in one integrated solution. The AP20 significantly improves surveying productivity by eliminating manual pole height reading and allowing measurements with a tilted pole.

The system integrates seamlessly with Leica TS16, TS60, and MS60 robotic total stations and works with Leica Captivate field software. With built-in sensors and intelligent communication, the AP20 automatically detects pole height changes and updates the measurement parameters in real time.

Tilt Compensation technology allows surveyors to measure points without perfectly leveling the pole. This enables accurate measurements even when the pole is tilted, making it easier to capture points located near obstacles, walls, or difficult terrain.

The TargetID function ensures that the total station automatically identifies and locks onto the correct prism, preventing interruptions caused by locking onto foreign targets. This is especially useful on busy construction sites where multiple survey crews may be working simultaneously.
