FreeProbe Series is a portable optical probing solution designed to complement SHINING 3D’s dynamic tracking systems such as FreeScan Trak Nova and FreeScan Trak ProW. The device enables precise coordinate measurements in areas that are difficult or impossible to capture with 3D scanners, including deep holes, edges, and hidden surfaces.
The wireless probe operates within the full tracking volume of the optical tracking system and delivers metrology-grade accuracy up to 0.025 mm.
FreeProbe integrates seamlessly with major industrial inspection software platforms such as PolyWorks and Geomagic Control X, enabling efficient inspection workflows, dimensional verification, and quality control in manufacturing environments.
The ergonomic design and lightweight construction allow engineers and metrology specialists to perform accurate measurements directly on the shop floor.
