The Hexagon HP-L-8.9 Accessory Kit for RA8 6-Axis is an entry-level 3D laser scanning solution for Absolute Arm 6-axis systems.

It extends tactile probing with non-contact measurement, enabling flexible workflows for reverse engineering, inspection, and product design in automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing.

The HP-L-8.9 delivers fast, accurate point-cloud capture, suitable for complex geometries and freeform surfaces. It scans materials such as carbon fibre, leather, and metal without markers or surface preparation.

The system supports instant switching between probing and scanning without calibration. An integrated range finder helps maintain optimal distance, improving ease of use and productivity.

With a stand-off distance of ~90 mm, it is ideal for cavities, recesses, and hard-to-reach areas.

The scanner connects directly to the arm for plug-and-play operation with minimal setup.

Compatible with PolyWorks, SpatialAnalyzer, and PC-DMIS.
