The Hexagon Absolute Arm V3P 8545 7-Axis is the largest portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM) in the 85 Series, designed for high-accuracy probing and 3D laser scanning of large components.

With a 4.5 m measuring range (4.98 m max reach), it combines extended reach with higher precision than the 83 Series. It is ideal for large assemblies, reverse engineering, tooling verification, and surface inspection in aerospace, automotive, and heavy industry.

The 7-axis configuration enables efficient use of laser scanners for fast data capture in inspection, CAD comparison, and quality control. The system supports quick switching between scanning and probing without recalibration. A modular scanner can be removed for tight areas.

Absolute Encoder technology eliminates warm-up and referencing, ensuring immediate and stable performance. Carbon-fiber construction provides rigidity and thermal stability in demanding environments.

The Zero-G counterbalance system improves ergonomics and reduces operator fatigue during extended use.

Compatible with PolyWorks, SpatialAnalyzer, and PC-DMIS.
