Creaform Scan-to-CAD Pro is an advanced reverse engineering software module designed to convert 3D scan data into fully functional parametric CAD models. As part of the Creaform Metrology Suite, it extends standard Scan-to-CAD capabilities with powerful 2D sketching and 3D modelling tools.

The software enables engineers and designers to transform raw 3D scan data into optimized meshes and accurate CAD-ready models for product development, prototyping and manufacturing workflows. With fast processing and an intuitive interface, Scan-to-CAD Pro significantly reduces the time required to move from scanning to design.

Scan-to-CAD Pro includes a full suite of mesh editing tools such as cleaning, hole filling, merging, decimation and watertight mesh generation. Advanced alignment tools allow precise positioning of scan data using best-fit or entity-based alignment methods.

The Pro version enhances reverse engineering workflows by enabling the extraction of geometric entities and the creation of parametric CAD models directly within the software. Users can generate NURBS surfaces, curves and cross-sections, as well as build fully defined 2D sketches and 3D models using intuitive modelling tools such as extrude, revolve and cut.

The software supports export to standard CAD formats including IGES, STEP and DXF and provides direct integration with leading CAD platforms such as SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360 and Solid Edge.
