Delivery & Inspection
Safe delivery process for geodetic and metrology equipment
Buying equipment on Topotronix is designed to be transparent, secure, and controlled at every step.
All shipments pass through our inspection process, and payments are protected through a secure transaction system.
From the moment you place an order until the item is delivered to you, the entire process is monitored to ensure the equipment matches the listing description.
How Delivery Works
1. Order Placement
When you place an order on Topotronix:
-
You confirm the purchase price shown at checkout
-
The payment is processed via our secure payment partner
-
Funds are held securely until the transaction conditions are fulfilled
At this stage the seller is notified and instructed to ship the equipment to the Topotronix Inspection Center.
This process ensures that buyers never pay directly to unknown sellers.
2. Shipment to Inspection Center
Before the item is sent to you, it must first arrive at our inspection facility.
The seller ships the equipment to the Topotronix inspection center where it undergoes:
-
visual inspection
-
verification against the listing description
-
documentation review
-
packaging verification
Only after passing inspection can the item proceed to delivery.
This step significantly reduces the risk of receiving equipment that does not match the listing.
3. Quality Control (QC)
Every inspected item is checked for consistency with the listing.
Inspection may include:
-
serial number verification
-
condition verification
-
accessories verification
-
damage check
If the equipment does not pass inspection, the order will be cancelled and the buyer receives a full refund.
4. Shipment to the Buyer
Once the item passes inspection:
-
it is securely packed
-
shipped using a tracked delivery service
-
tracking information is provided to the buyer
Shipping partners may include international courier and logistics providers depending on the seller's location.
Delivery time depends on:
-
origin country
-
shipping method
-
customs procedures

→ 2–7 business days

Customs & Import Duties
For international deliveries:
-
customs duties may apply
-
import taxes may apply
-
clearance procedures may delay delivery
These charges are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Topotronix cannot control customs processing times.
Inspection Period After Delivery
After the equipment arrives, buyers have 72 hours to inspect the item.
During this time you should verify:
-
condition of the equipment
-
accessories included
-
functionality
-
compliance with the listing description
If no issue is reported within 72 hours, the item is considered accepted and payment is released to the seller.
If Something Is Wrong
If the equipment does not match the listing or arrives damaged:
-
Submit a claim via the dispute form
-
Provide supporting evidence (photos or description)
-
Our team reviews the case
If the claim is approved:
-
return shipping will be arranged
-
a refund will be issued
If the claim is rejected, the transaction is finalized and the seller is paid.
Secure Payment Protection
All payments are processed through a protected escrow-style transaction model.
This means:
-
the seller does not receive payment immediately
-
funds are held securely until the inspection and acceptance period is completed
-
buyers are protected against misrepresented listings
This system ensures fair transactions for both buyers and sellers.
